Visita Altares

Saturday. December 13, 2008.

Our annual trek to Albay proceeded early as we (me, wife, and Hajj) normally sked it just after Christmas by taking the common route via Tuburan, Ligao City,  sightseeing after twelve months the lahar damaged highway stand as is … slight improvement except for the road asphalt overlay.

It was a needed family time-out and soul food at churches we vowed to visit, a mini visita altares — particularly Nuestra Señora de Salvacion in the picturesque town of Joroan, Tiwi.  We likewise dropped by old churches at  Tiwi and Tabaco City on our way back, townfolks suggested that our next visit at their locale we should try the Tigaon, Cam. Sur route — a much shorter trip, perhaps lot cheaper, and better road compared to Tuburan highway.

Arrived Naga City in time for the 6:30 p.m. anticipated mass topping the day with four churches.
